We are in the earthquake zone
06.02.2023
We, as Alliance of International Doctors (AID) are in the earthquake zone with all our strength and hearts.
- As Alliance of International Doctors (AID) we are deeply feeling the sadness with our nation by the earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude, which took place in Kahramanmaraş and affected the surrounding provinces. May Allah grant mercy on our citizens who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to our wounded

- We have been working on the crisis desk that we organized together with our association volunteers as soon as we learned about the earthquake, which happened on Monday, February 6, at 04:17 (AM) and had Pazarcık as its epicenter. We are working to heal the wounds of our citizens with the help of our teams of doctors, health personnel, search and rescue officers, and technicians, who set of from various provinces across our country.
- We are moving along quickly in our project to establish 2 Sahara type polyclinics in order to reach the earthquake victims more effectively and raise the quality of medical support. We are in the earthquake zone to heal our wounds with our volunteers who have international field experience and with all our strength. On our association's website, aidoctor.org, you can find the account details for donations an support our activities in the field hospitals and region.

- We participate in search and rescue operations and first aid interventions in various regions with the help of our volunteers under the direction of our Disaster and Emergency Coordinator Dr. Murat Kadir Topçu, and we provide support with our doctors and medical personnel to provide the needs of the injured that have been hospitalized and their families. We guide the aid trucks that carry the essential needs such as food, drink, clothes etc. prepared by our volunteers all over our country to the regions in need.
- As the Alliance of International Doctors, which we founded in Istanbul in 2011, taking it as our duty to be with the people living in disaster areas, we continue providing health education, health assistance, preventive health services, treatment, and rehabilitation services in many parts of the world with the help of our volunteer health workers.
