In the High-Tech Orthotics-Prosthetic Centers, we are trying to start a new life for people, who have been destroyed by weapons and made disabled, by using modern devices. We expand hope. We are working hard to help the victims of the war, people who have lost their limbs, to hold on to life.
We give hope to people at Türkiye’s High-Tech Orthotics-Prosthetics Production and Application Center to meet the needs of war victims who suffered limb loss in the bomb attacks in Syria.
Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs) are an important part of the global health workforce and have a special role.
This team must have the qualifications, training, equipment/materials so that it can intervene successfully rather than burden the national system. EMTs should strive to have an environment-appropriate service qualification, as well as the ability to meet the minimum acceptable standard.
Interventions that especially doing in childhood, help to prevent potential blindness.
With our Children’s Glasses Project, which we started to help kids to see better, we aim to prevent future blindness by taking early preventative measures against defects. In this direction, we identify our children who need glasses and get the glasses to kids after examining them.
Stronger Together
The project “Development of Community-Based Social Services for Refugees and the Host Community (CLIP 2)” is funded by the joint fund of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union’s Humanitarian Aid Agency (ECHO) and is organised the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit ( GIZ) GmbH.
Social support is provided to the families of children who are receiving treatment in pediatric oncology and hematology services under the cover of the project, which was established to be implemented in partnership with IHH Humanitarian Relief Fund and AID.
The aim of the project is to contribute to the treatment process by reducing the financial and moral burden on families. Within the scope of the project, support is provided by contacting families in cooperation with 7 hospitals. In addition, sometimes support can be provided for the current needs of hospitals in their wards.
