Emergency Medical Technicians Continue its Trainings

The Alliance of International Doctors (AID) pursued its efforts to develop Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) with a two day training held in Istanbul on January 28-29.
- The Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) establishment process is being rapidly continues by the Alliance of International Doctors (AID), which started its projects in order to reach every individual in need of medical aid and support in Turkey and all over the World. The attendants who participate in the Emergency Medical Technicians, which were established basis on voluntarily by the Alliance of International Doctors, are fully prepared for the field with the training organized by experts in various categories.
- Alliance of International Doctors' Emergency Medical Technicians project coordinator Dr. Murat Kadir TOPCU had a speech at the closing event of the training and thanked the participants with these words. ''With the help of our volunteers, we continue the process of establishing Emergency Medical Technicians by providing training in several regions around our nation. We know that our teams, which will be prepared for deployment and specialize in their professions, will play a significant role in disasters and emergencies that affect both our country and our geography.'' The Alliance of International Doctors General President Specialist Dr. Mevlit Yurtseven greet the participants with these words “We share the experiences gained by our association since 2011 with these teams. We believe that you will turn into teams that will accomplish significant work in the field with their equipment and technical abilities and be a model to the whole world with your successes.”'
- Emergency Medical Technicians, established to provide medical support to countries and regions that call for help in cases such as national and international wars, natural disasters, and epidemics, form a significant part of global health power. Teams that include doctors, nurses, and paramedics from various specialties are working to resolve the crisis in the regions they reach and to establish a sustainable health system.
- Organizations that provide health services organized courses such as EMT structuring, basic life support, disaster psychology, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats, camping, communication during disasters, triage, volunteering, and fire information in the training held in Istanbul on 28-29 January 2023.
- After the sessions under the management of Murat Kadir Topcu, Erkan Kaya, Nadiye Çamcı, Ekmel Geçer, Mustafa Çalık, Hamza Enes Zorlu, Cihan Kabakcı, Mustafa Ünal, and İsmet Macit, evaluation exams for the participants were held and certificates were given to the successful ones. Alliance of International Doctors, which continues to Emergency Medical Technicians project, is aimed that accredited to the World Health Organization Emergency Teams (WHO EMT) with the contributions of the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations General directorate (ECHO)
